About Us
Sherry Beck Paprocki is an award-winning journalist
and editor who has written about numerous mega-brand personalities. Her
book, Oprah
Winfrey Talk Show Host and Media Magnate (Chelsea House, 2006) was
named to the Nonfiction Honor List created by the Voice of Youth Advocates
(VOYA) in 2007. She has written similar books about Bob Marley, Ellen DeGeneres,
Martha Stewart, Katie Couric, Michelle Kwan, and others. In addition
to editing Columbus Monthly Homes, Paprocki’s bylines have
appeared in Preservation magazine, Hemispheres, the Chicago
Tribune, the Cleveland Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine, Los Angeles Times
Syndicate, and others.
Ray Paprocki is editor of Columbus Monthly Magazine, which has extensively covered an array of corporate brands. The winner of more than 35 journalism awards, Paprocki has conducted several interviews with Les Wexner, the founder of such mega brands as Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works. A former stringer for the Wall Street Journal, he has written freelance articles for the Chicago Tribune, the Cleveland Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine, Internet Retailer, and The Sporting News, among others. He also is the author of a book of personal essays, A Columbus State of Mind.
Ray and Sherry
are graduates of the Ohio State University School of Journalism and senior
lecturers at Otterbein College, near Columbus. They have two adult children,
Ana and Justin.
